(10 Italian lessons focused on practical use of the language + 5 lunches with a teacher)
Course structure
For those who come to Italy on holiday and want to learn how to get around independently: to order in a restaurant, book a hotel, buy groceries at the market, shop in a clothes store, or ask for information, you can choose to attend the Italian No Problem course.
Italian lessons in class are one-to-one or in small groups and focus on the practical use of the language. With the teacher, students then go to a trattoria or restaurant to continue their lessons by chatting leisurely over a good plate of pasta.
The course is intended only for beginners or those with an elementary level (A1) of knowledge of the Italian language.
Lesson times
Italian language lesson in class: from 11:00 to 12:30
Lunch in a trattoria with the teacher: from 12:45 to 13:40 approx.
Course duration
The Italian No Problem course lasts 1 or 2 weeks.

The No Problem Course is available in our branches in both Sestri Levante and Florence. The educational materials and the method of teaching are the same to make it easy to carry out your language study-stay in both schools in Italy.

Italian Courses for families with children
If you are thinking of coming to study Italian in Italy with your family, the ABC Italian language school in Sestri Levante can help you organise a course for you and children of school age.
Course structure
Adults can choose the course they prefer, but we recommend the Standard course in the morning or an Individual course so that they have the afternoon free to enjoy the sea or the beautiful walks along the Ligurian coast. Whilst the parents are in class, the children can study Italian with a teacher who will provide them with ad hoc lessons structured according to their age and language skills.
The ABC school in Sestri Levante is situated by the sea, practically on the beach of the Bay of Silence, in a quiet place loved by young and old alike and close to bars, ice-cream parlours and pizzerias, excellent for a short break between lessons or for lunch.
In the afternoons, you can take part in walks or excursions organised by the school for all students attending our Italian courses in Liguria.

Group Italian courses take into account the different language levels of students. Students at elementary, intermediate, higher and advanced level can start the course every Monday and are requested to take the online language level test at least two weeks before arriving in Italy.
The starting dates for beginners in 2024 are: 18th March, 2nd April, 15th April, 29th April, 13th May, 27th May, 10th June, 24th June, 8th July, 22nd July, 5th August, 19th August, 2nd September, 16th September, 30th September, and 14th October.
From 15th January to 15th March and from 11th November to 13th December, individual courses or courses in small groups (twos and threes) are available, as well as online courses.

Italian Courses with Sailing
The ABC Italian language school organises Italian courses by the sea. The windows of our classrooms overlook the Bay of Silence, which is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Italy.
If you like the sea and would like to organise a study holiday in Italy, Sestri Levante is perfect for you.
The ABC school gives you the possibility to choose between Italian language courses in groups, combined courses (group or individual lessons) with classes of a maximum of 8 students, or individual courses during which you can study Italian and meet people from all over the world.
In the afternoons, the school offers a range of extracurricular activities such as walks, excursions or visits to other famous towns on the Ligurian coast.
If, after your Italian course, you would like to take a sailing course and have the chance to sail on Mediterranean winds, the ABC school can help you organise sailing lessons, thanks to nearby sailing schools.
