Since 1982 the ABC School has been specialised in teaching the Italian language to foreign students. Situated in the heart of Florence, very close to Ponte Vecchio, the Piazza Santa Croce and the Piazza della Signoria, it is in one of the oldest and liveliest parts of the city of Florence: a perfect base for those who would like to explore the historic centre.

We have light and airy classrooms, some of which have frescoed ceilings and panoramic views. From one side of the school you can see the fascinating and quiet via dei Bardi, and from the other and from our terrace Palazzo Vecchio, the Cathedral, Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery and the river Arno

All of our linguistic programs give a lot of importance to culture and art as an integrated part of students’ learning through seminars or guided visits taken by our teachers which usually take place in the afternoon or during the day on Saturdays when the school is closed.
Our principle objective is to offer our students the possibility to study Italian whilst discovering the culture and beauty of both Italy and Tuscany for both personal and professional growth.
